Dr. Bouchillon is one of the founders of Redwood Dental. He attended the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate degree and dental school. Dr. Bouchillon has completed more than 2,000 hours of continuing education. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but focuses mostly on changing patients smiles through cosmetic dentistry. Changing a person’s smile changes their outlook on life. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and his 3 boys. Some of his favorite activities are working out, traveling and coaching his 3 sons.
Dr. Brian Chang began his education with a B.S. in Biology from the University of Detroit Mercy and then achieved his DDS from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Chang has always had a passion for giving back to the community by helping others in need. His favorite aspects of dentistry include tooth extractions, endodontics, restorative dentistry, and relieving patients of pain.When not in the office, Dr. Chang enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing sports, exercising, eating and traveling. He is also involved with local charities such as Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile. Dr. Chang is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Oakland County Dental Society.
Dr. Brian Schmitz practices in the Redwood Dental office in Warren, MI. His education includes an Undergraduate degree in Psychology from Wayne State University and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Schmitz enjoys dentistry because of the personal interaction with patients. He loves how dynamic dentistry is and is always looking for ways to better serve his patients.When out of the office, Dr. Schmitz enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and kayaking. He is also an avid sports fan, especially golf and football. Additionally, he loves spending time with family and friends. Dr. Schmitz has gone on dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic in the past and continues to be involved in other overseas missions. He is a member of the Christian Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Arthur Woehrlen operates out of the Redwood Dental office in Warren. He attended the University of Colorado then University of Michigan, graduating in 1973. His favorite part of dentistry is treating special needs patients under general anesthesia.His favorite hobbies are following U of M football, distance walking and skiing. Dr. Woehrlen has been married to his wife Sara for the last 45 years and they have a daughter, Tess. Tess is currently doing a Pediatric Neurology Residency at Children’s Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Woehrlen enjoys charity work and in particular, is a strong supporter of Macomb Oakland Regional Center. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, as well as the Macomb Dental Association.
Dr. Aida Rosenthal attended Wayne State University for her undergraduate degree in Biological Science, where she was heavily involved in research at Henry Ford Hospital. Fascinated by science and its application in medicine and dentistry, Dr. Aida Rosenthal decided to further her education by earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Upon graduation, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor society. She received additional training by completing a General Practice Residency. Being born and raised in Russia at the time when dental care was not widely spread and promoted, Dr. Aida Rosenthal developed deep appreciation for dentistry in the U.S.A. She believes dentistry is an essential part of overall health. She promotes preventative dentistry as well as patient education. Dr. Aida Rosenthal loves tailoring dentistry to each individual based on their goals and expectations.
Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her husband and their 1-year old son. She enjoys staying active and being outside. She likes biking, snowboarding, and working out.
Dr. Arbab graduated from the University of Lousiville with a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Periodontics. He chose the dental field because he feels there is a lack of education on the importance of oral health among the public. Dr. Arbab loves to remind people that taking care of their oral health can improve their overall health. He is married to his wife Khadija and they have a 6 year old and 4 year old at home. In his free time, Dr. Arbab enjoys running, spending time with his kids, trying new foods, and watching football. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, American Academy of Periodontology, and the Michigan Periodontal Association.
